When Lauren and Jonathan contacted me last year about possibly shooting their wedding in Cabo Matapalo I did not hesitate in replying with a resounding YES! As some of you know, I lived in Matapalo for 3 year and it is still one of my “happy places”, so to get the opportunity to shoot a wedding in the unique paradise that is the Osa Peninsula was a no brainer for me.
Samantha and Dan chose Costa Verde to set the stage for their day of love, and enlisted Chelsea at Oasis Weddings to design and coordinate the whole event. Jessica and Sean decided to head south to the white sand beaches of Santa Teresa to say “I Do”. They chose Banana Beach to decorate and host the entire event and it went off with out a hitch – well almost. 🙂 There was a ring momentarily dropped and lost in the sand. Best man props – haha!
I met up with Hannah and Kirk at Los Suenos to shoot their engagement photos for their up and coming wedding. We had a super fun time exploring the grounds, eating gelato and also had a chance to sneak on the Sea Fly boat for a few photos.
Flami and Cris tied the knot at the March House in Mal Pais, Costa Rica. The wedding was the definition of Beach Boho perfection – with a stunning teepee arch and Flami’s gorgeous gown being my personal favorite touches. The couple exchanged necklaces instead of rings and brought their adorable dog along to join in the festivities. Check out their day and a full list of vendors below!
Shooting in Louisiana is not something that I get to do all too often, but the vast contrast of landscapes really gets my creative juices flowing. I get to trade beaches, palms and expansive ocean horizons for swamps, hay fields and gorgeous broad oak trees. I love it! Check out Shalei, Landon and Layden beautiful fall shoot below.
The stage was set for Lauren and Kenny’s wedding at the Parador Resort in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Larissa Banting of Weddings Costa Rica designed and coordinated the beautiful event and it went off without a hitch. Some of my favorite touches from the day (other than the obviously stunning bride and groom) were the bridesmaids’ pantsuits, the vibrant aisle runner for their ceremony and the homage that the couple paid to their heritage by doing the traditional jumping of the broom.
One of the sweetest elopements I’ve shot so far – from the “how we met” story to the beautifully designed details by Mal Pais Green Weddings – and y’all, Mother Nature was not messing around on this day. The sunset was like a painting!!

With only beach access to Ylang Ylang Resort, this location is truly a unique spot to say “I DO” – and Gisele and Adrien did just that! Their intimate wedding was a gorgeous, simple and a super touching affair.
Tara and Jake chose the stunning backdrop of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica to set the stage for their Casa Fantastica wedding. They had an intimate group of family and friends fly south to be a part of the joining of the two of their lives and chose Casa Fantasica to host the whole event.
Monica and Ryan chose the lively beach town of Tamarindo, Costa Rica to exchange their wedding vows. The couple decided on a full mass at the Hacienda Pinilla Chapel with their reception at the lovely Cala Luna Resort.
Kristen and Jordan’s ceremony was held at the lovely Bosque del Cabo; an eco lodge tucked away in the hills above Cabo Matapalo. After their intimate ceremony and a champagne toast we made our way to the suspension bridge on Bosque’s property, followed by a trip down to one of my favorite beaches in the area, Backwash, for sunset shots – oh and we snuck onto a friends property for a few shots by their epic tree. Shhhh!
