On the beaches of Costa Rica, Mel and Tristans’ loved ones converge from all over the world to celebrate the joining of their love together. Their beautiful Costa Rica wedding was set at Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo.
From their wedding in 2017 to Shannon and Pat 6 years later with 2 beautiful boys and one on the way! See their growing family here.
Rebecca and Aaron chose Pangas Beach Club to have their wedding and enlisted the help of Mil Besos to make their dream wedding become a reality.
Kevin’s brother Kyle got in contact with me a while back about wanting to gift Kevin and his soon to be sister-in-law Rebecca a honeymoon portrait session here in Santa Teresa. What a sweet and thoughtful gesture! I was stoked to meet them in their post-wedding bliss and be a part of making this gift become a reality.
As a Louisiana native myself, I quite often miss so many traditions from home. Emily and Kieran’s wedding encompassed so much of the New Orleans and south Louisiana culture that it was hard not to laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll) while shooting this! With a second line, oyster pirogue, beautiful oak tree ceremony, Jazz band and mini poboys; I was wrapped up in a big south Louisiana hug all day long – even though the wedding was held just a hop, skip and a jump from New Orleans in the beautiful beachside town of Pass Christian, Mississippi.
Shyla and Wayne came down to Santa Teresa to escape the winter and get one last hooray before their baby boy arrives. Shyla reached out looking for a Santa Teresa photographer to document their babymoon and also get a shot that would capture the perfect maternity announcement. I think we got just that!
Rivkah and Korey chose the gorgeous sleepy town of Esterillos to host their family and friends for their wedding festivities. I had yet to really explore this area of Costa Rica but I must say I was pleasantly surprised with how stunning it was and with a rather authentic vibe.
Sita and David chose the gorgeous Playa Hermosa (just north of Santa Teresa) to exchange their vows in front of family and friends. They enlisted the help of Marianne and her team at Bliss Weddings Costa Rica, and let me just tell y’all it was a STUNNER!
When Lauren and Jonathan contacted me last year about possibly shooting their wedding in Cabo Matapalo I did not hesitate in replying with a resounding YES! As some of you know, I lived in Matapalo for 3 year and it is still one of my “happy places”, so to get the opportunity to shoot a wedding in the unique paradise that is the Osa Peninsula was a no brainer for me.
I met up with Hannah and Kirk at Los Suenos to shoot their engagement photos for their up and coming wedding. We had a super fun time exploring the grounds, eating gelato and also had a chance to sneak on the Sea Fly boat for a few photos.
Shooting in Louisiana is not something that I get to do all too often, but the vast contrast of landscapes really gets my creative juices flowing. I get to trade beaches, palms and expansive ocean horizons for swamps, hay fields and gorgeous broad oak trees. I love it! Check out Shalei, Landon and Layden beautiful fall shoot below.
