Rivkah and Korey chose the gorgeous sleepy town of Esterillos to host their family and friends for their wedding festivities. I had yet to really explore this area of Costa Rica but I must say I was pleasantly surprised with how stunning it was and with a rather authentic vibe.
If you haven’t guessed it yet by the above photo of the epic tree, Emma and Ted’s wedding was hosted at Panga Beach Club in Tamarindo. It was a beautiful occasion styled up to perfection by the ladies of Mil Besos. Don’t miss the cold fireworks for the couples first dance – so COOL!
During the final days of May 2020 Costa Rica was the first Central American country to legalized same sex marriage. I’m so proud of this little country that I have adopted as my home – what a momentous occasion!
Gloriana and Iago chose the newly opened Nantipa Hotel in Santa Teresa to host their wedding day festivities, and let me just tell y’all – Glori and Iago know how to throw a party!! I really enjoyed all of the different aspects of their day; from the copal ceremony (guests give a blessing and added copal to the smoky cups), to the 80’s carnival that started half way through the reception and the henna tattoo station. The drinks were flowing, music was rocking and their guests had a blast!
Marina and Geoffrey, along with their close family and friends, came down to Tamarindo, Costa Rica to exchange their vows and make their love commitment official. It was a gorgeous day at Pangas with Mil Besos at the helm bringing all of the moving parts together for a stunning afternoon and evening.
Kelsey and Mike chose the luxurious beach front property of Casas Capitan to hold their wedding day events. It was a stunning day of love put together by the ever talented Marianne and her Bliss Weddings Costa Rica crew! Check out all the love, laughs, tears and beauty of their day below
Sita and David chose the gorgeous Playa Hermosa (just north of Santa Teresa) to exchange their vows in front of family and friends. They enlisted the help of Marianne and her team at Bliss Weddings Costa Rica, and let me just tell y’all it was a STUNNER!
Cindy and Ryan chose the gorgeous and intimate venue of Sueno del Mar to exchange their vows. On the beaches of Tamarindo, Costa Rica along with a hand full of friends and family they enjoyed the Pura Vida vibes and said “I DO”. The team at Mil Besos did an amazing job with the design and event planning; and the food – prepared by Basilico Catering – was oh so yummy!
“The Hippies”, as Ashley and Brett affectionately refer to themselves as, chose Sueno del Mar in Tamarindo to hold their gorgeous and fun filled wedding day. This couple is literally the cutiest – their bubbly and energetic personalities beamed and it was truly a day of love and laughter.
When Lauren and Jonathan contacted me last year about possibly shooting their wedding in Cabo Matapalo I did not hesitate in replying with a resounding YES! As some of you know, I lived in Matapalo for 3 year and it is still one of my “happy places”, so to get the opportunity to shoot a wedding in the unique paradise that is the Osa Peninsula was a no brainer for me.
Samantha and Dan chose Costa Verde to set the stage for their day of love, and enlisted Chelsea at Oasis Weddings to design and coordinate the whole event. Don’t miss their sweet “first look” on a suspension bridge and spicy salsa dance that the couple performed for their “first dance”. I met up with Hannah and Kirk at Los Suenos to shoot their engagement photos for their up and coming wedding. We had a super fun time exploring the grounds, eating gelato and also had a chance to sneak on the Sea Fly boat for a few photos.
