Wedding Tamarindo, Costa Rica // Monica and Ryan

Monica and Ryan chose the lively beach town of Tamarindo, Costa Rica to exchange their wedding vows. The couple decided on a full mass at the Hacienda Pinilla Chapel with their reception at the lovely Cala Luna Resort.

Weddings usually bring out a heightened sense of many emotions and this one was no exception. Monica and Ryan had a wedding planned a year prior to this day but had to cancel it due to the passing of Monica’s father – Paul. Before Paul’s passing he was able to help Monica choose her wedding dress – a simple BHLDN gown that Monica looked absolutely radiant in. As another remembrance, Monica decided to add her fathers’ favorite tie around her bouquet – which actually incorporated quite well with the tropical flowers. Paul was definitely there that day; not only in everyones hearts and minds but also in a surprise visit from 2 dogs whom decided to take a quick dip in the chapel pool waters during the ceremony (apparently Paul was a HUGE dog lover).  🙂

The whole day was really a treat to be a part of. From the moment I met Monica, Ryan and their family and friends I actually felt like part of their clan. I continue to be blessed with epic clients and I am very grateful for that!
